About the event
About 5.1 miles, 2hrs and a mixture of footpaths, bridleways, road and canalside paths. Suitable walking boots/shoes needed (no open toe shoes) and clothing to suit weather plus drink & snack if you wish.
It's a varied walk from Whilton locks, along the canal, through Brockhall (recorded in the Doomsday book) and back along the canal. Please car share where possible. What3words: ///breed.rash.transmits - car park gates will be locked at 6pm
Open to all members and will be at a social pace and dogs are welcome.
The New Inn, the Saracens Head of the Althorp Coaching Inn are all a short drive away if anyone wants to eat afterwards.
