Service Description
This small group GCSE Business programme is designed for students who are interested in studying Business but did not get the opportunity to choose it as an option at school. The course provides students with a structured introduction to GCSE Business, helping them build knowledge, confidence and understanding from the very beginning. Sessions are suitable for students who may be considering studying the qualification privately or who simply want to develop their business and enterprise knowledge further. We can support students following: • AQA GCSE Business • Edexcel GCSE Business • OCR Enterprise & Marketing Sessions focus on: • Understanding key business concepts and terminology • Developing commercial awareness and enterprise skills • Learning how businesses operate in the real world • Building confidence with exam-style questions and written responses • Developing analytical and evaluation skills Students will also receive guidance and support around: • Understanding GCSE specifications • Independent study expectations • Choosing a suitable exam board • Finding and booking a GCSE examination centre as a private candidate Please note: WNP Academy is not an official examination centre, however we can help guide families through the process of entering GCSE examinations privately. How the programme works: • Delivered in structured 4-week blocks • 1 x 90 minute session per week • Small class sizes to allow individual support • Suitable for students aged 14+ • Beginners welcome — no previous Business knowledge required This programme is ideal for students who: • Did not get the opportunity to choose GCSE Business at school • Are interested in entrepreneurship, enterprise or marketing • Enjoy creative thinking and problem solving • Would benefit from a smaller and more supportive learning environment • May be considering studying Business further in the future
Cancellation Policy
WNP Academy Booking Policy Thank you for booking with WNP Academy. Please read the following information carefully before booking any academy, educational or junior sessions. Booking & Payment • All sessions must be booked in advance through our online booking system. • Payment is required at the time of booking to secure a place. • GCSE Business Support sessions are booked in structured 4-week blocks unless otherwise stated. • Spaces are limited and bookings are accepted on a first come, first served basis. Cancellations & Refunds • Due to limited group sizes and advance planning requirements, bookings are non-refundable once a block or session has started • If WNP Academy needs to cancel a session, an alternative date, credit or refund will be offered where appropriate. • Missed sessions by participants are non-refundable and cannot normally be transferred. Arrival & Collection • Participants should arrive promptly for sessions. • Parents/guardians remain responsible for children before and after sessions unless otherwise agreed. • Junior participants must be collected promptly at the end of sessions. Health, Safety & Behaviour • WNP Academy aims to provide a positive, supportive and inclusive environment for all participants. • Respectful behaviour is expected at all times towards staff, coaches, tutors and other participants. • WNP Academy reserves the right to refuse participation or remove individuals whose behaviour is disruptive, unsafe or inappropriate. Educational Support Disclaimer • GCSE Business Support sessions are designed to provide educational guidance and support only. • WNP Academy is not an official school, examination centre or awarding organisation. • While we aim to support students to achieve their potential, results and outcomes cannot be guaranteed. • For private candidates, WNP Academy may offer guidance regarding exam centre arrangements, however responsibility for exam registration remains with the parent/guardian or student. Medical & Additional Needs • Parents/guardians should inform WNP Academy of any medical conditions, injuries, SEND requirements or additional support needs prior to attendance. • While every effort will be made to accommodate individual needs, participants must be able to engage safely within a small group environment. Photography & Marketing • From time to time, photographs or videos may be taken during sessions for promotional purposes. • Please inform us in writing if you do not wish for images
