Welcome to The Court Yard.
The new home of West Northants Pickleball. Just 5 minutes from Daventry, located inside the historic Royal Ordnance Depot, Weedon Bec.

We are open for play while we build the dream.

The Vibe

We are stripping it back to basics. No luxury, just the game. You are playing in a 200-year-old industrial shell with taped lines on the original concrete floor. It’s Pickleball with an edge.

The Temperature

The Depot is beautiful, but unheated (for now). We recommend layers, trainers with good grip, and a flask of coffee. You bring the warmth; we provide the court.

The Mission

We are a Community Interest Company (CIC). This is just the start. Every court you book funds the next improvement—from pro flooring to heating. Join us at the start of the journey.

Location: We play across West Northants. The Court Yard (Weedon Bec) and Parker E-ACT Academy (Daventry). Check which site you are booked into on your email confirmation:

Choose Parker if you love the "High Lob" game. It’s a traditional sports hall with high ceilings, perfect for deep defensive play and competitive ranking matches.

✅ Club Matchplay: Intense, timed games (unrated).
✅ Social Play: Our classic 24-player mix-in.
✅ Express Social: 60-minute fast-play sessions.

Choose The Court Yard if you love the "Fast Game." Set in a converted industrial depot, it has a lower ceiling height (approx 4m) which encourages a faster, flatter game, perfect for sharpening your drives and dinks. It’s also where we hang out, drink coffee, and socialise.
