Beginner Pickleball is a one-hour introduction for people who have never picked up a paddle. You learn the shots, the rules and the scoring — and then you stay on and play with everybody else.
Book a Beginners sessionThis is the part people most often get wrong about us, so it is worth saying plainly.
Beginners is a way in, not a group you belong to. It is not a class you keep attending until somebody says you are ready, and there is nothing to pass.
Our Beginners sessions run half an hour before a Social session and then join it. You are not sent home with a leaflet — you carry on playing with the group.
Everybody there was new once, most of them recently. You will miss shots, so will they, and that is roughly the whole point of the sport.
Live from the club calendar. Arrive at the time shown — where a session runs into a Social, it says so.

Trainers you can move in and clothes you would wear to walk in. Indoor courts, so no need for anything weatherproof.
We have paddles and balls. You do not need to buy anything to try pickleball, and plenty of people play for months on club paddles.
You do not need a partner or a group. Doubles rotates, so you play with several different people in an hour, which is the fastest way to meet anybody here.
Learn the basics, then come and play with us.
That is the whole pathway. There is no test, no grading and no waiting to be invited.
You are welcome at Social from that point on — most people go to the very next one. If you would rather learn privately first, or want a family or group introduction of your own, there is private coaching too.
