WNP 60+ Competition Pathway. Train. Play. Compete.
60 isn’t the finish line. It might just be your starting line.
Pickleball has age-group competition designed so people compete against others at a similar stage of life. We’re building a pathway for players aged 60 and over — from strength and confidence through to coached pickleball, matchplay and tournament competition.
You do not need to be an experienced tournament player. This isn’t about being elite. It’s about having something to train for, continuing to improve, and seeing how far you want to go.

You don’t have to go to the English Open. It’s what we’re building towards together, but there are other events through the year and plenty of people will aim at those instead — or at none of them.
A dedicated coached session — technique, tactics, movement, doubles positioning, partner communication, scoring, match strategy and tournament preparation.
Likely to run once a fortnight to start with. How often it runs will depend on what people tell us below.
Functional strength, balance, mobility, muscular strength and conditioning, to help you stay physically capable of training and competing.
Not a generic exercise class. It exists to keep you on court — with an emphasis on building and keeping muscle, which is the thing that decides how long you go on playing.
Scalable and joint-friendly, so different levels of ability train together. Weekly.
Where you are on the pathway. The stages ahead of you are the point — there is meant to be something still to come.
No payment and no commitment. Nothing here is running yet — what you tell us is what decides whether it does, and what it looks like.
