Club Matchplay

Timed competitive games with nothing riding on them. The usual step across from Social for people who want the games to matter without the score following them around.

DUPR Matchplay

Two hours of timed competitive games, recorded for DUPR. Your results go to your official rating, so this is the one to choose if you want a rating that reflects how you actually play.

Full tournaments, run here and elsewhere. A bigger commitment than a matchplay evening and usually a whole day.

DUPR is a rating, not a ranking, and it is not a judgement.
Plenty of people play Club Matchplay for months before they want a rated game. Neither one is the senior version of the other.
