Pickleball for young players

A sport juniors can be good at quickly. The court is small, the ball is slow, and a ten-year-old can hold a rally with an adult within about twenty minutes — which is not true of most racket sports.

Two ways in

One is about learning the game, the other is about playing it competitively. Most juniors do both.

Learning the game

A supportive introduction designed to help young players learn pickleball and build confidence on court. This is the place to start if they have never played.

Ages 10–15 · DUPR rated

Fifty minutes of competitive games for juniors who would rather play than drill. Results are DUPR rated, so they build a real rating of their own.

Schools

Different thing entirely

We also run pickleball inside schools, as enrichment days and curriculum sessions. That is arranged with the school rather than booked by a parent.

Juniors are not a scaled-down version of the adult club.
They get their own sessions, their own coaching and their own rating — not a corner of somebody else’s session.

Questions parents usually ask

Equipment is provided, indoor courts mean sessions run whatever the weather, and everybody working with juniors is safeguarding-checked. If there is something else you need to know before booking, just ask us — we would rather answer it than have you guess.
