Does membership make sense for me?

If you play regularly, probably. See what you’d typically save.

Worked on a typical £10 session across 44 playing weeks a year, allowing for holidays. Your real saving depends on what you book, and session prices vary.

More than a discount

Membership is more than a discount

It’s being part of WNP. Most people join us for the pickleball and stay because of the people.

Where your membership goes

Your membership helps keep WNP going

WNP is a Community Interest Company. Membership helps us keep session prices affordable, create beginner and junior opportunities, support and train our volunteers and coaches, and invest back into the facilities and the community.

And you get plenty back too.

Can't stretch to membership?

Cost should never be the barrier

A small number of bursary memberships are available every quarter, funded by the club and our sponsors. If cost is a barrier, we'd much rather have a conversation than see someone miss out — just have a quiet word with any coach or message us directly.

Questions people ask

How long does membership last?

A full year from the day you join — not to a fixed club year, so joining in October gives you until the following October.

Does membership renew automatically?

Yes. It renews once a year unless you cancel, so there’s no gap in your member prices and nothing to remember.

Do I still pay for sessions?

Yes. Membership isn’t a season ticket — you book and pay for the sessions you want, at the member price. There’s no monthly plan to join.

Which sessions get the member discount?

Adults get 20% off eligible sessions and under–18s get 10%. Your member price is worked out automatically and shown before you pay, so you’ll always see it applied at the point of booking.

Can I add my partner or children?

Yes. Additional adults are £35 a year, 15–17s are £20 and under–15s are £10. A membership can cover up to eight people in total.

Does everyone get their own account?

Adults do — each one needs their own email address, because the account is theirs, not yours. Under–18s get their own profile and their own name in every session, managed by you.

Can I join if I’m new to pickleball?

Absolutely, and plenty of our members were. If you’d rather try before you join, come to a session first or take a look at PickleFit.

What if I already have a WNP account?

Just sign in and build your membership from the account you already have. Your bookings, profile and history all stay where they are.

Can I cancel?

Yes, from your account at any time. Cancelling stops the next renewal — you keep your member prices until the end of the year you’ve paid for. Membership isn’t refundable once paid.

Are monthly playing plans included?

They’re not on sale yet. For now everyone pays their member price when they book, and membership is all you need.
